The Center for Training and Education can collaborate with departments or Schools to provide faculty development programs in two ways:

• Any course that is offered as a public course for all JHU employees can be individualized for a department or school request, and provided using methods and techniques specific to the needs of a faculty group in a time frame convenient to their schedule.
• Special developmental programs on teaching and learning can be designed to meet the professional development needs of a department or school. Typically, these are designed in collaboration with the client faculty and the School for Continuing Studies, Excellence in Teaching Program.

Groups that are interested in providing a faculty development seminar should call Linda Dillon Jones, director of the Center for Training and Education, at 443.997.6804. These sessions are available through Staff Development Remission, and there is no charge to the department unless people register and do not attend.
